MADE IN JESMOND

So, for this new project we had to make products to be sold in a shop ! Exciting stuff !!

For me, having me work exhibited in a shop is very scary and the process is very daunting ! At the beginning of the project i was very nervous thinking about what i going to do, if it would fit in, if i could produce something to meet up to the expectations of the shop and if i could meet the other guys work in the class !

I LOVE TEA .... so i based my project on teacups - i used the family's china to start my drawing off !

After weeks of working, drawing, photoshopping .... this is my one of my pieces of work in a frame ready to go .....

My 2nd piece of work that i placed in the shop was also constructed using photoshop..... but this time i also Incorporated A LOT of french knots !

I love doing embroidery ..... the french knots took hours ! However at the end of it... I'm very happy with what i am putting in the shop.

Lets see how these sell !

Deconstruction - Reconstuction

Deconstruction - Reconstuction

This was a Deconstruction - Reconstuction task we had to do for the last module. As i come from a very military background, i enjoyed doing the project. I have completed Decon - Recon tass n the past and really enjoy the creativity of them.

This garment used to be a set of combat trousers and 2 sleeves come from a combat jacket.

This project was the CAD project. The aim was to produce two sets of wallpapers using photoshop to change up my original hand drawn images. I wasn't the biggest fan of CAD - and i struggled a bit throughout this project !!!
